10 Ways to Build a Canada That Wins

The Brooks and District Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce the launch of 10 Ways to Build a Canada that Wins.

“This report identifies 10 important ways in which all stakeholders – Business, Government, and Chambers of Commerce – can improve the public policy environment to support business growth and build a more prosperous economy” said Perrin Beatty, President and C.E.O. of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

“Using the 10 Ways as a discussion piece we will meet with government and other stakeholders to inform and help shape the policy positions and advocacy initiatives we will undertake through 2018” he added.

Advocacy is an important part of the Chamber’s work and strategic partnerships such as this ensure we are able to advocate for all types of business to all levels of government.

It is important to build bridges with organizations like the Canadian Chamber” said Chamber Vice-President Cindy Slenders. “Advocacy is a very important role. Having a larger unified voice promoting businesses of all sizes, in all sectors, and all regions can really improve Chambers’ ability to influence national and international negotiations and expand business opportunities” she added.
