Feelgood Friday

It’s Time to Admit It – Winter Is Here.

The warning signs have been here for a week. Your vehicle is freezing, your windshield wipers don’t clear frost and just like Cher from Clueless you “totally paused” for that stop sign. The TransCanada was closed for a second time in six weeks last night. Winter is here. The good folks at Harwood Ford can help.

The Huffington Post has a couple solid recommendations for folks when it comes to winterizing your vehicle. Among the most practical: check your wipers, check your tires, check your battery and get your oil changed.

“Ya’ know, we have a special right now that does just that” said Jeremy Hardy, President of Harwood Ford, when I sat down with him earlier today. “And its not just for Ford vehicles, either. Harwood can service any make or model. Just bring it in.”

And if your winter beater is about to die they can help you out there, too. Fords have options like a Lane-Keeping System to make sure your car stays in its lane, Pre-Collision Assist keep you from getting into accidents, Adaptive Cruise Control in case you are following too close and some can even parallel park themselves. Oh yah, how could I forget the heated seats?

I’d like to end on a personal note. I’ve known Jeremy for a long time. We went to school together – and what I respect about him is he is the furthest thing from the stereotype of a car salesman possible. He supports his community in more ways than you might think. Thanks to the team at Harwood for all they do!
